Burnsville, MN — Burnsville got their first win this evening with a 9-5 win over Lakeville North. They got behind early with a solo home run from Lakeville but then responded for 5 runs in the bottom half of that inning and never looked back. They went on to tack on 4 more runs and stave off any comeback attempt from Lakeville. Eli Reinen pitched the first 3 innings throwing for 7 Ks and 3 ERs only allowing two hits. So Kierstead then pitched the next 4, giving up 1 ER on 4 hits and 4 Ks. The offense was led by the back half of their lineup with the 7-9 hitters (Ben Woelfel, Bryce Soberski, and Elijah Lindsey) scoring 6 of the 9 runs. Mario Nesvig and Cole Sieben also nabbed two hits in the effort as well. Overall great performance from the Blaze and they look to add more against Lakeville South tomorrow
