Burnsville, MN — The Blaze gave up 8 runs in the first half inning and couldn’t come back from that. A couple key errors cost them and the Lakers pounced on the opportunity early. Once the defense was able to settle down, the Blaze did better at run control but it was too little too late. The Blaze drew a lot of walks today as well drawing 8 walks in 5 innings and only striking out 3 times. The Blaze left too many people on base as they had 3 separate innings with multiple people on base and only came up with 3 runs in those situations. Colin Westrum, Leo Christenson, Elijah Lindsey, and Bryce Soberski each recorded a hit today. Elijah Lindsey started and threw 3.1 innings only giving up 2 BBs and 1 K. Bryce Soberski came in relief and gave up 1 hit in .2 innings. The Will Sczepanski came in and threw 1 inning with 2 Ks. The Blaze play Shakopee on Wednesday at Shakopee high school
