Stamford, CT — The Mustangs rolled into Stamford to take on the Vikings of Westhill High School. The Mustangs jumped out to an early 5-0 lead and did not look back. The team went into half time with a 12-5 lead. The 5 goals conceded in the first half where the most allowed in any half this season by the defense, but the team stepped up their performance by blanking the Vikings in the 3rd and 4th quarter, to end the game with a 20-5 victory. The team is now averaging 17+ goals per game, while only allowing 5.6 goals against. The Mustangs hope to maintain these numbers as they head into a big matchup with Ridgefield High School, at Warde on Tuesday at 6pm.
