Allentown, PA — Easton Area Rovers JV watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 13-0 loss to Parkland on Friday. Parkland scored two in the first and wouldn't look back. The Easton Area Rovers JV struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Parkland, giving up 13 runs. One bright spot for Easton Area Rovers JV was a single by George Thomas in the second inning. Matthew Zingales was on the hill for Easton Area Rovers JV. Zingales surrendered six runs on nine hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking zero. Nic Barone and Ryan Holmes threw in relief one-third and one inning respectively. Aiden Harman, Ryan Coulombe, and Thomas all had one hit to lead Easton Area Rovers JV. Parkland racked up 15 hits. Parkland was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error.
