Owasso, OK — An early lead helped Tuttle Tigers defeat Berryhill 12-8 on Thursday. Tuttle Tigers scored on a double by Braylon Brooks, an error, a sacrifice fly by Nate Windle, a triple by Bode Brooks, and a single by Ashton Bennight in the second inning. Both offenses were strong at the plate as Tuttle Tigers collected ten hits and Berryhill eight in the high-scoring affair Tuttle Tigers took the lead for good with six runs in the second inning. In the second Brooks doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs, an error scored one run for Tuttle Tigers, Windle's sac fly scored one run for Tuttle Tigers, Brooks tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Bennight singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run. Berryhill scored four runs in the third inning. Berryhill batters contributing to the big inning included Spradlin, Henson, Scully, and Barrington, all driving in runs in the frame.
