Burnsville, MN — A seven-run sixth inning led Burnsville Blaze 9A to a 12-2 victory on Wednesday. The offensive firepower by was led by Luke McHugh, John Santelman, AJ Galvin, and Eli Johnson, who all drove in runs. Burnsville Blaze 9A got things moving in the first inning. Darren Einberger drove in one when he tripled scoring Santelman. Burnsville Blaze 9A tallied seven runs in the sixth inning. Burnsville Freshman Blaze 9A's big inning was driven by doubles by McHugh and Galvin, a walk by Johnson, and an error on a ball put in play by Santelman. Johnson took the win for Burnsville Blaze 9A. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on one hit over three and a third innings, striking out four. McHugh and Luke Dam entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
