Eagan, MN — Burnsville Blaze 9A gave up 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th in a 3-2 loss to Eagan 9A on Thursday. The Blaze opened up scoring in the first inning. Chase Classen walked, Kenny Steffen was hit by a pitch and then Greydon Isebrand grounded out scoring Chase Classen. In the second inning, John Santelman walked with 2 outs, stole second, stole third and scored when the catchers throw to third sailed into right field. AJ Galvin started the game for Burnsville Freshman Blaze 9A. The righthander lasted three innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out five. Isebrand and Nick Discher entered the game in relief, throwing three innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively. Discher went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead the Blaze in hits. Chase Classen led Burnsville Freshman Blaze 9A with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.
