Lakeville, MN — Burnsville Blaze 9A fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 5-1 loss to the Lakeville North Panthers 9A on Thursday. Kenny Steffen led things off on the hill for the Blaze. Steffen went one inning, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out two. AJ Galvin threw five innings in relief out of the bullpen, allowing two unearned runs on two hits and striking out five. Steffen, Galvin, Greydon Isebrand, Luke Dam, Luke McHugh, and Darren Einberger each collected one hit to lead the Blaze. McHugh had the only extra base hit with his double in the top of the fourth scoring Isebrand for the Blaze’s lone run. Next up is a Saturday matinee verses Rochester Mayo 9A.
