Burnsville, MN — In the final game of the season, Eli Johnson didn't allow a single run against Eagan 9A, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Burnsville Blaze 9A to a 7-0 victory on Thursday. Eli went seven innings, allowing zero runs on five hits and striking out eight. The Blaze tallied six hits on the day. Greydon Isebrand and Branden Einberger each had two hits while Kenny Steffen added a single and Eli doubled off the right field fence to knock in a run. The Blaze will need some ice tonight as four players were hit by a pitch; Kenny, Luke McHugh, John Santelman and Eli. Chase Classen stole home in the 5th inning, one of his two stolen bases on the night. Burnsville 9A finished the season with 9 wins and 10 losses.
