Burnt Hills, NY — Burnt Hills watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 4-1 loss to CBA on Saturday in the second, non-league game of a double header. CBA got on the board in the first inning when Luke Szepek singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. Jake O’Connor was the winning pitcher for CBA. O’Connor went five innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out five and walking zero. Jimmy LaBombard threw two innings in relief and recorded the last six outs to earn the save . Kyle Kristel took the loss for Burnt Hills. Kristel went four innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out three. Liam Blesi and Vincent Vendetti each collected one hit to lead Burnt Hills. Matt Pinkerton drove in the only run with a Sac Fly. Szepek led CBA with two hits in two at bats.
