Colonie Central fired up the offense in the first inning, when Small doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. The Spartans knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the first inning, when Josh Slater induced Jack Duane to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. Burnt Hills pulled away for good with one run in the third inning when Matt Pinkerton singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. Burnt Hills tallied four runs in the fourth inning. The inning was led by Duane and Kyle DeCresce, who all drove in runs. DeCresce's was a 3 run big fly to put the game away. Kyle Kristel was the winning pitcher for Burnt Hills. Kristel lasted five innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out five in his complete game effort. Chance Herrington took the loss for Colonie Central. The pitcher allowed five hits and five runs over two innings, striking out three. Slater started the game for Colonie Central. The bulldog surrendered one run on zero hits over one inning, striking out one and walking one. Pinkerton went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Burnt Hills in hits. Colonie Central was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Small had the most chances in the field with six.
