Rochester Hills, MI — Adams JV traveled to Rochester High this week for a big cross town rival showdown. Adams started the game off strong with a safety on RH's first possession. The ensuing kick resulted in a Highlanders TD by King put the Highlanders up 8-0. The Highlanders continued there offensive assault when Andrejack scored on a short scamper after a big gain by Heppner. Watters connected on the extra point and the Highlanders went up 15-0. The second quarter was dominated by the Highlanders lock down defense and a 25 yard TD pass to Ferris with another extra point kick by Watters. Heading into halftime the Highlanders were up 22-0. The Highlanders set the tone for the second half when they recovered the onside kick to start the third quarter. Andrejack connected on a 35 yard pass to Heppner setting up Watters for a short run and another extra point running up the score to 29-0. Adams was firing on all cylinders with big pushes from the offensive line and a lock down defense which led to numerous 3 and outs by RH. The Highlanders dealt the final blow when King scored on a QB keeper and Adams converted on another extra point kick bringing the score to 36-0. The Highlanders didn't disappoint in their efforts to make it known they came to play in Falcon Land. Final score 36-0!
