9th Annual Purple Softball Game
The Lady Dawgs played an emotional 9th annual Purple Game tonight against a very strong Saranac team. Ionia fought hard in the game but fell short by a score of 5-0. Ionia was led by Emma White and Kam Perry who both recorded hits in the game. Ionia was also led by Kaidence Thomas in the circle who struck out a season high 12 batters. The night concluded with the Purple Jersey Ceremony where family and friends gathered to remember those who have fought, and continue to fight cancer. Thank you to both the Ionia and Saranac communities for your support on this incredible night.
