The Adams Freshman team took a bad loss today in the pouring rain against Stoney Creek.

The Highlanders Freshman Football team eked out a 24-21 victory over their rival Clarkston Thursday evening. The Adams team showed initial strength in the opening drive, reaching the end zone in seven snaps, sticking with the run, and then forcing Clarkston to punt from their own 35 yard line after only five plays. But then the Highlanders struggled both offensively and defensively for the remainder of the first half, with Clarkston putting up 21 unanswered points.

The action got started with Heppner in the first quarter with an interception to run for a TD. Then the extra point was good by Monter giving Adams an early lead or 7-0.
