A battle at Mendez

The team pulled together for the season opener with a hard fought 5 set victory. The Lady Sentinels came out strong winning the first set. During set 2 and 3 the girls played flat but in set 4 they found their grove and forced a 5th set. The team won the toss and served first. The 5th set was a battle but the Lady Sentinels prevailed 15-13. The stand out player of the game was Michelle Guerrero playing her first game at libero.
