The Mountaineers scored early and often as they took care of an outmanned East-side team. Reid Tenzer led the way with a 5 point scoring barrage while added a couple assists on the way. Reid also secured his place in Mountaineer lore by scoring the 100th point of his career.
The Mountaineers built up a 13-2 lead midway thru the 3rd quarter when the Patriots began their ferocious comeback against the young Mountaineer reserves. The Patriots, although outmatched at the varsity level , were able to make it a compeititve game ending in a 14-11 victory for the Mountaineers. The Mountaineers gained valuable varsity experience for thier young players which will go along way towards building the program.

Today the Mountaineers took care of business in a big way. Jumping out to a commanding 14-1 lead at haltime and never looking back is a sign of a team that plays together. The fact that 6 players scored multiple goals shows the chemistry being devloped with in the program and the direction we are trying to go in.
