PBVFH Celebrates an Outstanding Season

Pine Bush Varsity Field Hockey came together again for an end-of-season awards banquet, celebrating an exceptional season. Each player was recognized for their contributions to the team this season and to the program over the course of their playing career. The following players were recognized for making the Section IX All-Star Teams:

Game #8 Kingston

In an unforgettable homecoming and senior night game, our team faced Kingston at home and emerged victorious with a final score of 35-19. Despite trailing 13-0 in the first quarter, our team showed incredible resilience, rallying back to secure the win. The evening kicked off with a rededication ceremony for our new turf field, originally named after the revered Thomas F. Lonergan in 1983. Following the ribbon cutting and the national anthem, the crowd was treated to a breathtaking fireworks display. This crucial victory secured our spot in the playoffs, and we're now geared up to face Middletown this Saturday night at 7 pm. Let's keep the momentum going!

PB's Strong Effort Falls Short in 3-0 Loss to Rondout Valley in MHAL Semi-Final Game

In a hard-fought MHAL Semi-Final game, our team faced a tough 3-0 loss to Rondout Valley. The standout of the game was strong defense, led by Emma Halpin, Jordyn Wilson, and Madelyn Carpenter. Their efforts prevented Rondout Valley from finding the back of the net for most of the game. Grace Grant made an impressive 18 saves to keep our team in the game. Despite the scoreline, her performance was nothing short of outstanding. Throughout the game, our entire team demonstrated tremendous effort and tenacity, giving it all until the final whistle. While the result may not have gone our way, the determination and commitment of our players were truly commendable.
