In a thrilling 17-3 victory over F.D.R, Pine Bush showcased a dominant performance. The game was preceded by a heartfelt senior night ceremony, celebrating the contributions of Sara Barry, Sam Budney, and Sophia Licardi. The trio didn't disappoint, each netting a goal during the game. Lillian Atria, Mackenzie Brown, Sara Barry, and Julia Tanner also made their mark with a goal apiece, while Katie Cragan added two to the scoreboard. Fiona Varely added three goals, while Sam and Sophia led the charge with four goals each. Camryn Kodgis showcased her playmaking skills with three assists, setting up crucial goals. In goal, Grant stood tall with six saves, securing the win for Pine Bush in a memorable senior night celebration. The team improves to 11-4 on the season and looks ahead to the final regular season matchup on Thursday against Cornwall.
In a heartfelt tribute to Morgan Rodgers, a former Duke University lacrosse player, Pine Bush dedicated the game against Washingtonville to raising awareness for mental health through “Morgan’s Message,” a non-profit established by Morgan’s family and teammates. It is through this work that we continue to spread awareness for improving mental health among student-athletes and eliminate the stigma around getting help.

The defensive unit along with the midfield, displayed resilience throughout the match, holding strong against a formidable opponent. Grace Grant's exceptional performance in goal, with 11 saves, kept the team in the fight. Though falling short against a strong opponent, the team fought until the end. Pine Bush moves to 9-3 on the season and looks ahead to an out-of-section matchup against Clarkstown South this Saturday.
