It took about 75 minutes, but then the girls connected on some beautiful soccer. Greta Marcellin targets Makeli Leonard who shields and passes into Celeste Ramirez who finds London Bane at the top of the 18 where she one-touches a perfect through ball to a streaking Lily Golphenee who who buries the equalizer. Well done young ladies.

Another view of the 1st goal of the season. This one shows Anessa Bolanos' who wisely restarts the play immediately after a handball and lobs a perfect pass ahead to Makea Leonard who then passes to Sophia Ruys for the goal. 😊

Carmen Flores with the great shielding and outlet pass to Lily Golphenee who tightropes the endline, uses great vision to find the perfect 45° assist to Makeli Leonard.

Tough game, but the girls continued to work hard as Makenna Blum didn't quit on this play and hustled to lob a perfect cross to Lily Golphenee who slammed home the header goal.
