Riding high after a road win over Gar-Field last week, the Osbourn Park Yellow Jackets hoped to keep the momentum rolling for their homecoming game last Friday night. They were not able to capitalize as the Battlefield Bobcats spoiled the night by winning 61-12.
The Osbourn Park Yellow Jackets went on the road this past Friday to take on the Gar-Field Indians and put together an impressive team effort, coming away 14-12 victors.
Originally slated to play September 14th, Colgan and Osbourn Park finally met Friday night. This time there was no hurricane to affect the game, and not a cloud in the sky. Despite the ideal playing conditions, the Yellow Jackets suffered a 38-13 loss to Colgan.
Following an 0-3 start and a few weeks of games being affected by weather, the Osbourn Park Yellow Jackets took to the road on Saturday to seek a win versus the Herndon Hornets (1-2). Despite starting in a 14-0 hole, they showed guts and grit in a 21-14 comeback victory.
