Second Half

The second half of the game was a true battle as defense shut out Venice on the first series of the half. ELCO then came out with a boom, running a 70 yd TD up the middle. The score was 13-7. ELCO’s defense then made another huge stop on Venice, allowing offense to drive down the field kicking a 36 yd field goal. The score was 13-10. From there, Venice scored two touchdowns, with ELCO’s offense getting close to the in-zone but not being able to punch it in. It was a true dog fight and the score came out to be 26-10, Venice.
