This!!! Appreciation post! Thank you to ALL of 10u. Coaches, parents and especially athletes. If anyone missed practice yesterday, Coach Ray gathered both teams at the end to introduce our helmets for this season. Back of the athletes helmets will have a 99. The 99 represents the Schooners. The love for the game & the pride from wearing their jersey. The 99 represents family. Putting on that helmet, means YOU are a schooner. Forever. Shawny was not only an amazing son. He was a great team mate. He was the "heart" of our team. Sadly, Shawny passed away in December and never really got to see his team/league step back onto the football field. 99 will forever live on that field. With each and every athlete who puts on a Schooners jersey or helmet. Always remember, He's got your back!!! We are 99. YOU are 99. (If any child/parent has any questions or wants to know more about Shawny, please feel absolutely 100% free to ask. I would love to tell you about my son 🐼) GO SCHOONERS!!!!!
