The JSerra Girls Beach Volleyball team picked up their first victory this season with a 5-0 triumph over Notre Dame Academy in nonleague action on Wednesday at Santa Monica Beach.
The Lions (1-1) enjoyed a dominant performance, as sophomores Emma Champagne and Sara Moynihan (21-12, 21-9), juniors Nicole Thorp and Ruby Hill (21-15, 21-10), junior Grace Fogel and freshman Kaitlyn Dostert (21-10, 21-8), sophomore Skylar Noble and freshman Katherine Nowak (21-8, 21-10), and sophomores Catherine Beadles and Charlotte Nowak (21-8, 21-16) combined for a perfect day for the Lions.
