The JSerra Girls Soccer team saw its fantastic run in the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs come to a halt just short of their desired destination, as the Lions were defeated by Palos Verdes 4-2 in a semifinal game on Saturday evening at JSerra High.
The Lions (12-4-6) had their eight-match unbeaten streak snapped, dating back to the regular season, as the Sea Kings offense produced two goals in each half.
Sophomore Peyton Marinos and senior Kaylee Shozi each tallied a goal for JSerra.
