The JSerra Boys Lacrosse team dropped a 14-7 decision to the Santa Margarita Eagles on Wednesday in a Trinity League clash at JSerra Catholic High School. The Lions are now 14-2 on the season and 1-2 in league play. Santa Margarita set an aggressive tone in the first half, while also jumping out to a 7-3 lead at halftime. JSerra narrowed the deficit to 8-6 at the end of the third period, but the Eagles dominated the final period by scoring six goals. Lions sophomore Cob Sprague and senior Jared Referente each scored two goals. Senior Grant Fuller, junior Gabriel Seldow, and sophomore Mason Stephens each scored a goal apiece. JSerra senior goalie Jack Neiger recorded 11 saves in the game, surpassing 500 career saves.
