The JSerra Boys Lacrosse team continued its' undefeated run to open the season, as the Lions posted a 17-7 triumph over the Beckman Patriots in a nonleague game on Friday evening at JSerra Catholic High School. JSerra is now 5-0, having posted four of those victories by double-digits. The Lions and Patriots battled through a tight first half on Friday, as four goals from sophomore Cob Sprague sparked JSerra to a 7-5 lead at the intermission. The Lions turned up their effort on both offense and defense in the second half, outscoring the Patriots 10-2 to put the game away. Sprague finished the game with a team-leading five goals. Sophomore Asher Stevenson tallied three second half goals. Senior Jared Referente, sophomore Mason Stephens, and junior Gabriel Seldow each scored two goals. Seniors Grant Fuller and Adam Balkhi, along with sophomore Luke Bittner, also scored a goal.
