Maize, KS — How to describe our divers?!? The good, the bad and the ugly! The good, 155 points are available and OneMaize took 49 points!! That’s 32% of the possible points on our first try. There were 5 teams competing and we took a third of the points or 11% more of the pie. What a fantastic start to our holiday season. Bring us more pie! The bad, Carter Bowles had a failed dive that was BEAUTIFUL. This dive failed because he did a full twist and not a half twist, as entered on his dive list. Basically, he over-delivered. He might have placed in the medals with the dive, if it had been listed as a full. Rest assured it will be in the future! The Ugly - Our numbers are too pretty to be ugly! Our goal for everyone this season is to get 6 dives to the 5 level. We scored this high and didn’t even hit our goal. Think of how good we’ll be when we do. We are well on our way. CONGRATS MAVERICK & EAGLES DIVERS!!! You made us all proud.
