Dow scored 1 run in the sixth to tie and 1 run in the bottom of the seventh to win. Tyler Biacagalupo led off the sixth with a single, moved to second on a wild pitch, and then went to third on great situational hitting by Dan Kowalczyk. That set up the scene for Joe Craig to single in the tying run. In the seventh, Nolan Sanders laid down a nice drag bunt for a single and Western's defense overthrew the attempt at first giving Sanders the opportunity to use his speed to motor to third with no outs. Zack Parker laced the next pitch for a game ending single.
