My girls confidence went up and their skiing showed signs of growth---all of girls finished all of their runs on one of the steepest slopes in Michigan which is a feat that doesn't always happen at this race." Coach Petrosky "The first step in improving as a team is believing in yourself and these girls are doing just that. I heard them all say that they were ready for the 550 feet of vertical on the FACE and after their runs they said that it was fun, which is going to help when we head back to the 250 ft vertical of Timber Ridge on Monday for our next conference race. When I took over the program 8 years ago, the first thing that we did was add as much big hill up north racing to our schedule as possible, so our skiers would gain skiing experiences that can only be had on steep complicated slopes."
