Thompsonville, MI — The Girls Ski Team competed in the Bryan Groenevelt Memorial Invitational Race Hosted by the Benzie Central Ski Team at Crystal Mountain on Monday. The Invitational is the first of three that the Scots will compete in this season. Caledonia finished 7th Place. "We faced an extremely tough field of teams, some are ranked and some would be if they were in different regions. I was impressed with how well our girls competed at the race, we showed a lot of improvement from last week's race and know that we will be much more competitive in our race Wednesday." Coach Petrosky Kyleigh Thompson led the team in slalom (medaled at 14th) and was 24th in GS today (24th), also scoring for the Scots were Vicky Brousse (19th GS), Liz Hilton (29th SL and 27th GS), Zosia Skrzypek (32nd GS), Madison Reynolds (33rd GS), Kayli Price (35th SL) and Erin Peckham (41st SL) The Scots next LMSC meet is 5:00pm Wednesday Jan 24th at Crystal Mountain.
