Thompsonville, MI — "Today was a great test of our skiing. The conditions were tough and our girls really showed grit in their attack of the courses. Kyleigh Thompson led our team in both events tonight (6th SL and 8th GS), she has been consistently one of our top skiers for the past two years and is really skiing well as we get ready for our final stretch of races leading up to Regionals". Coach Petrosky "Our girls skied in a nice clump of times that really the showed consistency of the team. We took third but really pushed ourselves in the courses and are showing improvement." We also had some great skiing from Vicky Brousse (12th GS & 13th SL), Liz HIlton (14th SL & 15th GS), Mya Baldwin (10th GS), and Tamara Sarkoezoiva (15th GS). The race was shortened to one run of GS and one run of SL due to the snow conditions. Leading our JV skiers in slalom tonight were Katy Honhart (1st), Ada Decker (2nd), Kayli Price (3rd) and Ada Peterson (4th). The Scots are racing Wednesday night at Crystal Mountain. The race will be varsity only due to snow conditions.
