2024 Begins

The 2024 campaign kicked off with a trip to Penns Valley for a meet with Huntington. As per usual for the PV venue, the number of Porta Johns seemed to really dictate when the meet would begin as the line for the 2 available looked more like a line outside an Apple Store when a new phone arrives. Many of the girl and boy jumpers were scratched, torn and left with raspberries due to the mixture of sand, shale dust, 2B Stone and scattered bones that served as the landing pit. Never, ever have either Coach Ulery or myself received a scoring sheet close finish that showed a winning time of 27.2 and the second place finisher with a time of 27.2+!
