If you need assistance please apply for the Grant link below Scholarship Amounts Qualifying individuals are eligible to receive up to $1,000 in scholarship funding in a 12-month period. Multiple scholarships may be awarded to an individual, but the aggregate total over a 12-month period may not exceed $1,000. Process An application must be completed and signed by both the youth and a parent/legal guardian (if under 18 years of age). Applicants will self-certify they are income qualifying and certify that the information provided is true under penalty of perjury and that they understand that they may be required to provide documentation of income in the future. Proof of income may include most recent tax returns, Medi-Cal or CalFresh card, pay stubs, proof of participation in a rental assistance program, or other documents that demonstrate income eligibility. All scholarship funds will be paid directly by the City to the organization/business for which the individual is applying. Applications will be reviewed and approved by staff based on the criteria provided herein, which may be amended in the City’s sole discretion as needed. Scholarships will be processed in the order received. Please allow four weeks to process your application. The steps for applying for a scholarship are outlined on the application (see below).
