Ashburn, VA — The coaches for the Sterling Stealth are dedicated to the development of our players on the field but we also are dedicated to the development of our players off the field. We want to provide opportunities for our players to give back to our community. As part of this commitment, The Sterling Stealth will be volunteering to be buddies for the Virginia District 16 Little League Challengers baseball Fall season. Challenger baseball is the Little League's adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges. To help assist the players on the field, the league brings in volunteers to act as buddies for the players. The buddies help the players with hitting, running bases, throwing/catching, and encouragement. This is a great experience for the players and the volunteer buddies. The Stealth will be volunteering as buddies on Saturday, September 28th at Crittenden Park in Ashburn, VA.
