Shelton over Cheshire 44-34

Shelton High School Wrestling Gaels defeated the Rams of Cheshire 44–34 in an SCC showdown. Shelton came out strong, opening the match with a pin by Kaleb Whyte followed by a forfeit victory from Eddie Czarneski. At 138 pounds, Sam Markaj pinned and Gabe Saldamendi pinned at 150 pounds. Mike Strazza continued the momentum with a major at 157 pounds, and Ralph Franco delivered a pin at 175 pounds. After a Gaels injury defalt at 190 lbs, the match was tied at 34–34. Tony Nerrette came up big with a major decision at 215 pounds. Chase Galke then sealed the victory with a pin in the heavyweight bout.
