Michigan USA Wrestling - Freestyle Dual State Finals Hosted by Michigan Grappler Freestyle Only Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 We're expanding our State Finals format to include a Dual's finals for our High Schoolers. This inaugural event will be open to 16U and Junior athletes in a combined age group using the Junior weights. High level rules: Only 16U and Juniors are eligible to compete (NO 14U will be permitted) Wrestlers may only compete for one team Limit (2) coaches, must have USA Wrestling Leadership cards Format of the duals will be based on number of teams entered Will use the USA Wrestling Freestyle duals scoring Team singlets and RED/BLUE or not Mandatory We will make every attempt to have 3 man mechanics for the duals Location: Holt High School 5885 Holt Road Holt, MI 48842 Awards: State Finals Wrestling Room Banners for top 3 teams Medals for top three teams Michigan USA Wrestling is moving to "DAY OF" weigh in's for ALL events for 14U and up age divisions. In addition, we are going to be utilizing USA Wrestling official weight classes for those divisions. We reserve the right to "bump" weight classes up one in order to create competitive brackets.
