About Me

My name is Jonathan Rodriguez, class of 2024, shortstop. I am entering Sophomore at Seton Hall Prep, West Orange, NJ. My colligate goal is to play professional baseball. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. My academic goal is to have and maintain a 3.5 GPA or above during my four year of high school and throughout college. I plan to major in Business Sport Management. I was fortunate enough to be part of 2021 Best In The US Showcase. Receiving multiple college camp invites has been the highlight on my baseball career. I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete this year even though the outbreak of Covid19. I was looking forward for challenging Baseball Season. That experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to adjust my own efforts on becoming a best shortstop in the game and playing at the college level. I believe I have the talent to compete for a college team, character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
