Was a tough game. Boys came away with their first loss. 33-0. Rough. But the boys have heart and put in the work and will be unleashing their wrath next game!! Go Cowboys!! 🏈🏈
Good morning and we finally played our first game after our game last week was a forfeit. The boys played well and everyone got into the action as we beat Yucaipa 29-0. The game was over by halftime as we scored quick and often. Jax Horsley started the scoring with a 30 yard plus run where he was untouched. One player said Jax is so fast he is like a "bullet." Ross Vignone took a punt back to the house and Nate Almanza scored and a running play in the red zone. We kicked a couple fields goals to keep the score down, one by Blake Vanderplow of over 30 yards and one by Allar Hagermeister. We have the luxury of having two great kickers. Our defense was the story. the pressure on them was intense all game long. In the first have they basically went backwards. Jax Horsley had a viscous hit on their QB forcing a fumble. Braylen Gipson was in on a sack along with the majority of the defensive line. It was hard to notice who made the tackle as our boys swarmed tackled well. All in all it was a nice win and we got out of the game healthy.
