Budget, Expense - Indy Trip
Aloha,
I took the time to calculate the different costs associated with the travel to Indianapolis. Attach is the estimated budget broken down by days. It’s a chronological breakdown from travel expenses, meals and football related costs for the trip.As of now, the total ACCURATE ESTIMATE, is $1250 per player. At that cost, it would include everything for the trip needed. Players would only need to bring up money if they would like to do some shopping. Other than that, the $1250 would cover everythingincluding the meals. (Uniforms will be separate)
The price that is variable as of now is the flights. In order to get that price we would have to be ready to go as a team, as hawaii sports travel will give us a window where we have to pay the down payment of $200 to hold the spots at that price.We are not ready for that yet as we need a few more committed players to make the travel roster.
I will take max 15 players per team. Jv and varsity. There may be some exceptions but this budget is based off of 30 players and 5 coaches.
The boys will be 5 per room, 2 per queen bed, 1 on sofa, to maximize the use and keep costs down. We will travel with two 15 passenger vans, and 1 mini van.
In the attached budget is the meals. I researched and planned where we will eat for each different meal and found the best values for our team, including buffets at great prices. I know we gotta keep the boys fed!!! The good thing is that thehotel comes with free breakfast buffets and I plan to take advantage of it. I also left some wiggle room in the budget so the boys have the choice of where and what they want to eat. I’ll discuss that with the team later.

I have communicate with all these colleges on the list and confirmedtimes to visit all of them. Some are asking for teams roster, stats, GPA, highlight videos, etc for our boys. It’s going to be a trip of a lifetime and hope all can make it. I Mua.
