Travel monies update
Aloha Warrior Ohana,
So as of now, all plans are on stand by until we can get over this virus pandemic. In regards to the travel monies i have the following information to share.
1. Airline tickets - All seats on United has been cancelled. Those players and parents who have purchase their tickets thru me, have all been cancelled. All tickets will be on a "credit" status for one year. They will waive the transfer fee. We have up until the end of the year to book, and the end of the calendar year from the cancellation to use. Tickets are held in the name of the original passenger. With this being said, consider it money in the bank. I am unable to get that money back out, but it is there for use with any future travel. Any one who has purchased tickets on their own, please cancel and take care of that accordingly.
2. Hotel Money (Varsity) - All monies have been returned to me for the hotels. This was such a big relief as the hotel already charged us for the stay.
3. Transportation (Varsity)- All monies are in the account, as i did not have to pay for it until we returned the vehicles.
4. Tournament Fee- Coach Milton and I have been emailing to get our monies back for both teams at a cost of $1,000 per team. We did not get a response back. We will follow up. At the least, we will have credit for whatever tournament we decide to enter in the future. As of now, this money is outstanding as we did not get a refund for it yet.
5. Food (Varsity) - We still have the monies in the account on stand by.
6. Uniforms - Sorry, but that monies has been spent and the uniforms should be arriving any day now. I know it's such a bummer at this time, but unfortunately, they were ordered and paid for prior to all of this chaos.
7. College Visits: We have cancelled all visits.
Options: We have a lot of options in the future. Basically we are all paid up and ready for an all clear to travel. Of course we will have to consider location, dates, times, etc. But the bigger picture now is just to stand by, wait this thing out, and then proceed in the future.
