Dear PVSC families,

Over the last three weeks the club has implemented Virtual Zoom training sessions. Each athlete should have been attending a Zoom practice once a week with their team and has had the option to attend a skills clinic with their respective age group. As we approach May and wrap up our trial period with virtual training, we wanted to update you on a few things. We heard from parents and coaches alike that the Zoom training is a success during this time. Players are able to engage with their coaches and teammates as well as work on technical skills and increased fitness.

For the month of May, PVSC will continue with the Zoom training model and move one step closer to what “normal” would look like at this time. Each team will have two team trainings with their coach each week and a skills session on Friday with their respective age groups. This will provide each athlete with three sessions of training each week. Goalkeeper training is also available. If your player is interested in playing goalkeeper please contact your coach for information regarding the training that is available. If you are on a payment plan, the schedule is still active. At this time, we will not be making any changes to the payment plan agreed upon at registration and the one month extended from March’s deferral.

We as a club are fortunate to have dedicated coaches to work hard providing training from a distance. Their passion for the sport, the club and the development of their players is evident in all of the planning that is going into these sessions. While distance training is not ideal, we feel the hard work put in by our players now will show when we get to step back on to the pitch; afterall we are PVSC, full of PRIDE, VALOR, STRENGTH and COMMITMENT. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to your coach or email [email protected]

Best Regards,
PVSC BOD
