Good evening Schooners. I have some news and information to pass along. Sunday we are scheduled to be in Seekonk for our 10U to kick off at 12 noon 12U to kick off at 130pm. There are some changes to the schedule for the day. 10U will still be scheduled to kick off in Seekonk, and will follow the coaches instructions for arrival time. However, due to some player injuries on our 12U team we do not have enough players to take the field on Sunday. However, we will NOT let that stop a SCHOONER. So in lieu of playing against Seekonk the 12U team will Kick off a flag/1 hand touch...aka good old fashioned backyard football....game at the Tiverton High School @ 2pm. The Concession stand will be open and all athletes and families are invited to join us for a family cook out of hamburgers and hotdogs (FREE) and a few fixings. We would like to invite the 10U team and their families to join us after their game also for some good old family food and fun also!! CHEER Tiny mites will proceed to Seekonk and cheer on the 10U team and perform at 1/2 time ( See coaches for arrival and departure times) JrPee wee and Varsity teams are to report to the THS at 2pm for competition practice!! This is MANDATORY. They will also join us for a family cookout and after competition practice they can join in on the game fun if they choose too... When the Tiny Mites are done cheering I would also like to invite them to the family cook out. Families are welcome to join their athletes for a family cookout, watch them play some fun football or even join in!! Enjoy the afternoon with your Schooners family!! While we are bummed that our 12U team will miss their game this Sunday, Schooners always make it happen... one way or another... We are excited to see you all on Sunday and make sure these athletes get out on the field and play the sport they love!! Thank you for your continued support, Sakonnet Schooners Executive Board Vikkie, Josh, Joey, Brenda, Sandy, Monica, Amy, Nicole & Alan #flockmountup
