Orange, CA — Canyon started off their home opener with a victory against Warren. Jessica Gallardo scored on a beautiful PK to give Canyon the lead in the first half. In the second half, Warren answered back with their own PK from a hand ball in the box. Bella Gutierrez connected on a nice cross from Elisabeth Messinger to give Canyon the lead with only a few minutes left. The defense was able to hang on to give Canyon the win with a score of 2-1.
