Win over Union

The Mona Shores Sailor Boys Basketball team battled hard against Grand Rapids Union Friday night in the Conference opener. The Sailors fought to emerge with steady leads each of the first three quarters. Union fought back but the sailors prevailed 58-46. Leading the Sailors was Parker Swartz with 26 points and 8 rebounds. Keontae Richards played a great floor game adding 3 assists and only one turnover vs Unions pressure. Donovan Russell and JT Foster played tough on the boards with 9 and 7 respectively. Ethan Krueger led the team with 5 assists. The Sailors are 4-3 and 1-0 in conference.
