Canton, OH — The Boardman Spartans Freshmen Baseball team won their third straight game with a 5-0 victory against Perry. Landon Whippo was phenomenal on the mound as he pitched a complete game shutout, giving up only 4 hits and striking out 7. Whippo also paced the Spartans offense going 2-4 with 2 RBIs. Grayson Eicher, Kaden Mayhew, and Ivan Rudiak each added a hit as well. Mason Nawrocki, Sean O’Mellan, and Cory Pekkanen each added a run.
