Newton, MA — Hot and humid morning gave way to an early - and big - Rams lead. We came ready to play out of the gate, with Brady, Atley, Noah, and Clark all getting in the end zone before halftime. Brady also got it on with a rare sack for a safety! Still, even though we had game sealing TD in our sights to start halftime on offense, a number of sloppy plays, false starts, and missed opportunities slowed us down. Credit to the Chargers, who fought back in this one and got the score to within 8 late in the second half until Clark took a pass from Finn to the house to seal the victory, 34-20. Fair to say, we let our foot off the gas when we should have been finishing strong, and hopefully this is a lesson for us as we advance to the semifinals against the Bills, who handed us one of only two losses this season. The coaches and I are getting into game planning mode already, and are excited at our chances to advance to the Super Bowl for third consecutive season. Let's go Rams!
