Marx, Haupert, and Sneed each drove in runs during the inning. City Royal scored three runs in the second. Their big inning was driven by singles by Williams and Bradley. Ward was the winning pitcher for Baden. The pitcher went five innings, allowing six runs on seven hits. Sneed threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Sneed recorded the last six outs to earn the save for the Black Sox. Hill started the game for City Royal 14U. The hurler surrendered seven runs on eight hits over four innings, striking out six.
