Performance

Sophia was our offensive player of the game ! Sophia did awesome on controlling the ball and forcing the other team out of their path of travel. She held pressure the entire time even if she couldn't take the ball away she was able to either force them out of bounds or force them away from where they were headed. This is a huge accomplishment and a difficult task ! Sophia came close to scoring some goals and I know she's going to get there before the end of the season! I am super proud of her effort!!

Paige Wolfersberger

Paige played a lot of mid field this game as the holding mid fielder. They hold midfield while offense tries to score goals. When that ball pops out, Paige has the job of stopping it and sending it right back up the field to offense. If somebody's making a run with it, it's her job to stop, intercept and recover the ball and dribble it further up the field or pass to offense. She did a beautiful job of this every time! She won severeal 1 v 1 situations on the ball and gave it back to offense! Great job!

Saturdays game!

Newberg, OR — Well that was a tough one! I thought we really came out and competed against that team! Just so everybody is aware, the team we played Saturday, is also playing at the club level with that coach. They really are an excellent team with great athletes! That being said, I know that our girls can beat them ! We also have excellent athlete and excellent skills! We were also missing two of our players on Saturday, Payton and Aubrey.
