Spotswood pulls away from Sayreville in the 3rd

Sayreville battled an experienced Spotswood team but fell 83-60. Sayreville trailed 7 points at half but struck first and went on a 7-0 run to tie the game at 41. Spotswood regained the lead and extended the lead for the remainder of the game. Freshman Sam Jones led the Bombers with 19 points. Sam Omekeji scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds. Junior Guard, Cristian Mele added 6 points off the bench. Sayreville will travel to New Brunswick on Thursday, January 5 for a 7pm game.
