San Pedro, CA — The South Pasadena Varsity Tigers mounted an offensive barrage in their game against Mary Star of the Sea in San Pedro, pounding out 15 hits and scoring 10 runs. Elijah Garcia had three hits, while Jack Holley and Jesse Chavez had two apiece. Jon Bracamonte, Noah Adams, Ivan Becerra, Devin Robinson Jr., and Raphi Hall each had a hit. The game began with Garcia on the mound, who went three innings, striking out four and surrendering no runs. Benjamin Regan followed, striking out five. Becerra closed out the game with a spotless inning. The Tigers have one more non-league game on Thursday before they hit the road to play in the Lions Tournament in San Diego.
