Bethany, OK — Tuttle Varsity Tigers defeated Bethany Varsity Bronchos 15-0 on Monday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Kolby Heskett induced a groundout from Cale Wetwiska to finish off the game. Braylon Brooks led Tuttle Varsity Tigers to victory by driving in five runs. Brooks went 3-for-3 at the plate. Brooks drove in runs on a home run in the second and a home run in the sixth. Tuttle Varsity Tigers fired up the offense in the first inning, when Ashton Bennight grounded out, scoring two runs. Tuttle Varsity Tigers put up six runs in the sixth inning. Brooks, Easton Green, and Jackson Johnson each had RBIs in the frame. One bright spot for Bethany Varsity Bronchos was a single by Charlie Tolle in the fifth inning. Alex Conover got the win for Tuttle Varsity Tigers. The righthander lasted four innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out four and walking one. Heskett threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Gavin Finley took the loss for Bethany Varsity Bronchos. The bulldog went one and two-thirds innings, allowing seven runs on five hits and striking out three. Tuttle Varsity Tigers tallied seven home runs on the day. Brooks had a homer in the second and sixth innings. Brady Shackelford went yard in the second inning. Bennight went deep in the second inning. Johnson had a four bagger in the sixth inning. Grayson Barnes had a dinger in the first and fifth innings. Tuttle Varsity Tigers scattered 11 hits in the game. Brooks and Barnes all had multiple hits for Tuttle Varsity Tigers. Brooks led Tuttle Varsity Tigers with three hits in three at bats. Tuttle Varsity Tigers tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Johnson led the way with two. Tolle went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Bethany Varsity Bronchos in hits. Bethany Varsity Bronchos was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Tolle had the most chances in the field with six.
